Het ICN organiseert sinds begin 2006 de zogenaamde Picture Meetings. Deze driemaandelijkse bijeenkomsten zijn bedoeld voor inhoudelijke en informele discussie tussen schilderijrestauratoren en -onderzoekers, uit binnen- en buitenland.
Door middel van lezingen, die kunnen variëren in lengte van één tot dertig minuten, worden informatie en vragen met betrekking tot restauraties, en ander lopend onderzoek gepresenteerd.
De bijeenkomsten trekken zo’n 60-70 belangstellenden per keer. Ondanks het feit dat de bijeenkomsten zo groot zijn geworden, zijn ze nog steeds zeer levendig en met een hoge mate van interactiviteit. Ze zijn hiermee ook een netwerkplatform van onderzoekers, restauratoren en restauratoren in opleiding onderling.
